Our Statement of Support

Interior Federal has provided financial solutions for our members and families since 1935.  Membership is for LIFE, even if you change employers or retire.

We are aware of the many layoffs, terminations, unplanned retirements, and early-outs that are taking place across the Federal government.  We empathize with anyone who finds themselves in a situation that impacts them financially.

We have supported our members in the past, and we are here to support members, who may have been impacted by these recent changes.

What We Can Do:

  1. Need assistance with your current loan? Please call our Debt Resolutions Team to discuss options, such as extensions or skip-a-payment, if appropriate, at 800-914-8619.
  2. Need access to tied up savings? Tap into your Certificate(s), we may be able to waive penalty fees (up to a $15,000 withdrawal). We may also waive holiday club savings early withdrawal penalties.

To quality for assistance, please provide us with the termination/separation notification at the time you make your request.

To assist our members through tough times, we have many free resources available:

  1. GreenPath – free credit counseling, budgeting advice, debt management plans, and free live and recorded webinars on financial wellness (please see our home page for offerings.)
  2. Wealth Advisor – free consultation to adjust financial planning or start planning for retirement. Get advice on how to manage your TSP.
  3. Retirement Central – get ideas today to help you achieve financial security tomorrow through our free retirement portal.
