An Interior Federal Certificate will earn you a higher return on your savings, and will allow you to set money aside for a specific period of time. Investing money can be risky, take away that risk and earn guaranteed savings with a Certificate.
- Minimum opening deposit: $500
- Terms up to 60 months
All certificate lengths are also available as Traditional or Roth IRA Certificates, Coverdell Education Savings Account Certificates, and Health Savings Account Certificates. Simply fund the certificate from your IRA Retirement Account, Education Savings Account, or Health Savings Account.
Normally, a certificate offers you a guaranteed rate of return for a specific period of time. With a Bump-Up Certificate+, you have the chance to “bump up” your rate when dividends rise during your term!
- Available for 20 month or 56 month certificate
- Available on all IRA and Health Savings Account certificates
- Penalty fees may apply
This product is available for Little Buffalos Accounts, Teen Accounts, Custodial Accounts and Young Adult Accounts only. Competitive rates with a lower minimum opening deposit! You can add to your certificate at any time during the term.
- Minimum $50 to open
- Minimum of $25 per deposit during life of certificate
- Available for 24 month term

If you’re currently a member, you can open your Certificate through online banking. Once logged in, select Apply Online, Open an Account, Open a Deposit/Secondary Deposit Account.
To open a certificate, you must have a Primary Savings Account. Learn more about becoming a member.
^Minimum of $500 for certificates and no maximum, and minimum of $100,000 for jumbo certificates. Fees may reduce the earnings. A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal. For updated information or disclosure, inquire at any branch office or call 800.914.8619. Option not available for certificate-secured loans.
+Member must contact the Credit Union to request the bump up of their rate. Additional funds cannot be added when the bump up option has been exercised.
